Terms of Agreement

1. A minimum deposit of $100.00 is required to bind terms and is non-refundable. Deposit is subtracted from beginning balance, but does not represent full payment should the client cancel. Please make all checks payable to Steve Lux.

2. The client agrees to provide sufficient, grounded electricity within 25 feet of the DJ’s equipment. Generators are not an acceptable source of electricity. Minimum setup area is 5 ft. by 5 ft. with one table at least 4 feet in length is required. It is understood that the client is responsible to notify the function hall/coordinator of the space and table needs.

3. If the DJ feels that he or his equipment is in danger, he may conclude his part of the event and depart without any refund. This may include weather or moisture condition in an outdoor event as well. If the event will be hosted in an outdoor setting, a sufficient cover (tent) must be provided to the DJ in case of adverse or threatening weather conditions. If DJ feels guests have become rude, abusive, or intoxicated, he may conclude his performance and depart without any refund.

4. Parties entering into this contract are permanently bound to fulfill the obligations by this agreement unless one or more of the following conditions apply:

a. Both parties mutually agree to leave the agreement and its responsibilities.

b. The event described herein is completely canceled, and a minimum of 60 days notice is given.

5. In the event that the DJ becomes unable to provide his services due to complications beyond his control, a reputable replacement shall be provided at no more than the original price agreed on.

6. Any and all information or details must be communicated before the fifth (5) day preceding the event.

7. DJ Steve Lux shall not be held liable for any action or damage arising from or in connection with any individuals not directly affiliated with DJ Steve Lux. Furthermore, the customer contracting with DJ Steve Lux agrees to assume full responsibility for any/all damages to DJ Steve Lux or property either caused by themselves, their guests, or any other party in attendance whether invited or not.

8. The parties purchasing the services of DJ Steve Lux agree to allow the DJ to use pictures and video images taken at this event for promotional purposes.

9. The DJ reserves the right to deny guest access to the sound system, equipment, or performance area.

10. It is understood that if this is a "Rain or Shine" event, the DJ’s compensation is in no way affected by inclement weather.

11. It is understood that dinner will be provided to the DJ when and if guests are provided dinner. No table reservation is necessary or desired.

12. Client signature indicates the client is at least 18 years of age.
